Dane Spencer of USA skiing during FIS World Cup race in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Race was won by Benjamin Raich of Austria, Massimilian Blardone of Italy placed second, while Thomas Grandi of Canada finished third. Spencer finished 20th.

Third placed Natalija Gros of Slovenia during final climb in Climbing World Cup which was held in Kranj between 19. and 20. November 2005. Finals were won by Angela Eiter of Austria, second was Maja Vidmar of Slovenia while her teammate Natalija Gros placed third.

Climbing shoes of Natalija Gros of Slovenia during her half final climb in Climbing World Cup which was held in Kranj between 19. and 20. November 2005. Half finals were won by Angela Eiter of Austria in women competition and Flavio Crespi of Italy in men competition. Both of winners reached top of the route which gives them advantage for next days finals.

Tapio Wirkkala Exhibition was held in Architecture Museum of Ljubljana between October 11, 2005 and November 11, 2005. Wirkkala was one of the most influential Finnish designers of the 20th century and a multi-talented artist, whose works was featured in Slovenia for the first time. The exhibition was organized by the Architectural Museum of Ljubljana on 600 square metres of space with the support of the Embassy of Finland in Ljubljana.
