: Biathlon center in Pokljuka, Slovenia got extensive snow falls just week after Biathlon World Cup races which were held in Pokljuka, Slovenia at almost spring temperatures.
After very mild winter with high temperatures and no snow, snow finally covered high meadows of Pokljuka. Pokljuka is high altitude meadow above Bled, Slovenia and is popular cross country skiing and hiking resort and also great starting point for mountaineering hikes into Julian Alps.
