: Urbanc House (Urbanceva hisa), the first department store in Ljubljana, Slovenia, was commissioned by the merchant Feliks Urbanc in 1902 in and finished in 1903. Designed by the Graz-based architect Friedrich Sigismundt, it was modelled on contemporary department stores in Paris, Vienna, Graz and Budapest. The building still serves its original purpose and is hosting store Centromerkur.
