: People are enjoying sunny and warm spring day in Tivoli park in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The Tivoli is Ljubljanas largest and most beautiful park, which extends to the very city centre. It was designed in 1813 by the French engineer J. Blanchard, who joined the two parks which used to surround the Podturn and Cekin Mansions. Measuring about 5 square kilometres, the park is divided by three major horse chestnut-lined walks. Apart from the scattered flower beds and interesting trees, the park decoration includes a large number of statues and several fountains. In 1880, a fish pond was built at the edge of the park.
