: Aki Karihtala, president of INWA, demonstrating Nordic walking during INWA (International Nordic Walking Association) convention, which was held in Smarjeske Toplice, Slovenia between 24th and 26th of November 2006. During this convention various seminars and lectures were held, while attendants also had practical exercises and demonstrations of Nordic walking. Around 100 people, who are active Nordic walking guides, who are in process of getting Nordic walking guide certification, or they are just interested in Nordic walking, attended 3 days seminar in Smarjeske Toplice, Slovenia.
